The Dodgers are closing Blakesnell.
The Southpaw pitcher “didn’t feel good” after playing catch on Tuesday, according to manager Dave Roberts.
He will reportedly be re-evaluated this weekend when the team returns to Los Angeles.
The Dodgers plan to “throw a slow play” at Snell, All the Los Angeles Times.
“Part of our message to Blake is that later in the season,” Roberts said according to the outlet. “And if you have any type of discomfort, don’t try to fight through it.”
Athletic reported that Snell might “seek more imaging” in his arm.

“Hey – I’m 32 now, not 23. I’m fine when I throw it,” Snell said. “When I play catch, I don’t feel it. When I get out here, I’m fine. It seems like when I wake up, I have to go.”
Snell has been on the injured list since early April after being diagnosed with inflammation in his left shoulder.

The two-time Cy Young Award winners made just two Dodgers’ starts this season, pitching nine innings with a 2.00 ERA.
Snell signed a five-year, $182 million contract with the Dodgers over the offseason after opting out of trading with the Giants.
The injury has hindered the veteran starter throughout his MLB career.
Snell pitched more than 130 innings in just two seasons in a decade at the big league level.
