Sunday was a tough day for rookie quarterback Bo Nix.
With the Knicks Denver Broncos They lost to the visiting team 13-6. Pittsburgh Steelers Sunday's game marked Denver's second straight one-point loss since opening the season, and Denver had chances to pull out the win in the second half, but two interceptions by the Knicks killed the Broncos' chances.
While the second came on the final play of the game with the Broncos in their own half, Knicks' first interception on Sunday came midway through the third quarter when Denver faced a second-and-goal situation at Pittsburgh's 6-yard line. Trailing 10-0, it was Denver's golden opportunity to get right back in the game with a touchdown.
Instead, Next threw an interception.
During his post-game press conference, Nicks was asked what happened on that play, and the rookie's answer was honest, to the point and hilarious.
He threw it to the other team. It was that easy!
Watch a clip of Nix's interception here:
Nix tried to connect with Courtland Sutton in the back of the end zone, but the pass was hit by Steelers rookie defensive back Corey Trice Jr. Instead of Denver finding the end zone, or at least making a field goal, the Steelers took control.
