Bob Saget's widow Kelly Rizzo wasn't the first person to visit the late actor's grave on the second anniversary of his death.
In an interview with Fox News Digital, “Kelly Rizzo's Comfort Food” The podcast host shared that Ms. Saget's “Full House” co-star Lori Loughlin punched her there.
“It was kind of a funny moment because I went to visit him in the morning at the cemetery and I brought some small flower-like things with me. And as soon as I got there, a big flower arrangement was prepared. “I was there,” Rizzo said. . “I knew it was from Lori Loughlin. I thought, 'It must be from Lori.'” And sure enough, they were from Lori.
“She beat me to the teeth and got there before me.”

Lizzo said Loughlin's flower arrangement “made her tiny bouquet look smaller.”
“She was there too and we were both really happy to leave flowers for Bob. It was great to spend time with him,” Kelly added.

Bob died on January 9, 2022, due to blunt force trauma after an accidental fall in his hotel room in Orlando, Florida. He was alone at the time of the accident.
On the anniversary of Saget's death, John Stamos hosted an Instagram Live with several members of the “Full House” cast to pay tribute to his late friend. Lizzo missed the livestream.
“My mom was watching this movie and she told me about it. She was on a plane coming to visit me and she was watching it too. And my mom was like, 'Oh my God. Wow, that was so nice,'” Lizzo explained. “I was so disappointed that I missed it, but I watched the recap and it was so special and everyone is still sharing the love.

“I was only in his life for six years, but some people like John… [Stamos] And the entire cast of “Full House” has known him for 35 years. So, of course, they will continue to share all their love for Bob. ”
Lizzo told Fox News Digital that after visiting Saget on Tuesday, she did her best to receive well wishes and messages from fans, friends and family.

“I just felt like I was responding to all the well wishes from so many friends and family and even strangers. I responded to everyone and pretty much every comment, every DM, every message. It was the same as when I tried to reply to ,” she explained. . “Honestly, I was pretty overwhelmed by how people inevitably remembered that date even after two years. It was a surprise to me.”
Kelly said she was “so happy” to see the outpouring of love for Saget two years after his death.
”He's still at the top of our hearts and people still love him so much and still pay their respects and share how much they love Bob,” Lizzo explained.
On Tuesday, Lizzo uploaded a tribute to Saget on Instagram. The photo of her that she decided to use was the last photo of her he sent her before he passed away.
“You can see how much he loved this photo, because it was the night before he died,” Rizzo told Fox News Digital. “He sent it to me. He sent me a bunch of pictures he had taken of himself, like a series, and I said, 'Can you put a little heart next to the one you like best? I said, “I'll post that photo.'' ”
Lizzo recalled telling Saget that he looked “very handsome” in the photo. “That's a really nice picture.”

That photo was Bob's last Instagram post.

Kelly explained that the grieving process “never ends,” but it does change.

“Of course it gets easier, but it just evolves into something different. And for me, when I look at some people who lost loved ones 10 years ago, 20 years ago, they're still good. They're not in the situation. And it's still very difficult for them,” she explained. “Everyone's process is different. Everyone's reasons are different. But in my case, I think it's because I feel so relieved, because I didn't have any regrets. I didn't feel guilty about anything. Everything. 'Cause it was just love, love, love. ”
Saget had three daughters, Aubrey, Lara, and Jennifer, with ex-wife Shelley Kramer. After she married Lizzo in 2018, Kelly became a stepmother to her daughters. She told Fox News Digital that she and Saget's daughters keep his memory alive through stories and conversations.

“We stick together no matter what,” Rizzo said of Saget's three girls.

Kelly said she had dinner with Saget's daughter Aubrey, her husband, Bob's nephew Adam, and close family friend Jeff Ross.

“We intend to continue this tradition for as long as possible,” Kelly explained. “I've been spending the last three January 9th in a row with Jeff. It's very important for me to be with his daughters and talk to them as much as possible.”
Rizzo's new podcast, “Comfort Food,” features all of Saget's closest friends as guests. John Mayer, Jeff Ross, Rabbi Steve Reeder, and Jodie Sweetin will be our January guests.

As for Kelly's personal life, she is in no hurry to go out and start dating again, but she is not against the idea of getting married in the future.

“The good thing about my position is that I don't want kids. I'm married, so I'm not your typical woman, probably in her early, mid-40s. I'm definitely going to embrace that. ''' Lizzo said of her marriage. “That's something I'm open to, but the good news is that I'm in no rush.”
