A body was found Monday in a Texas lake, the same location where other fatalities have been found in recent months, authorities said.
Austin-Travis County EMS said a 911 caller saw a body at Lady Bird Lake in Austin. The unidentified person was pronounced dead around 1:52 p.m., Fox Austin reported.
Several other bodies have been found in the lake in recent months. At least five people have been found dead in the lake, which is part of the Colorado River that runs through downtown Austin, since last year.

The previous fatal incident at Lady Bird Lake involved a man in his 30s or older who had been drinking near Rainey Street in the city’s downtown area and was later found dead in the water. Ta.

A man whose body was found in the same body of water on March 5 has been identified as 40-year-old Clifton Achter. Jonathan Honey, 33, was found on April 1, a day after he was last seen at a food truck on Rainey Street. John Christopher Hayes-Clark, 30, was also found in April, washing up near a dam about two miles downriver from where the others were found.
Austin police say they are searching for a woman in connection with the drugging and robbery of multiple men in the city’s downtown area last week.

It is unclear whether she had any connection to the body found in the lake.
