On February 26, the Houston Police Department released body camera footage showing an officer shooting and incapacitating the gunman who attacked a Lakewood church on February 11.
Breitbart News reported that the attacker was a woman who brought a long gun into the church building. The 36-year-old woman was KHOU 11’s Janece Moreno. I got it. “Previously identified as Jeffrey Escalante.”
Breitbart News tracked the Texas Department of Public Safety records and found that one entry showed the name as “Jeffrey” instead of “Jeffrey.”
The attacker took the young child with her into the church building, and the child was seriously injured during the incident. ABC13 identified The child as the “Lakewood shooter’s son.”
Body camera footage released by the Houston Police Department shows officers taking a defensive stance as the gunman begins firing, then quickly moving towards her and taking her away. In the footage, the attacker’s young son appears to be lying injured on the ground.

The attacker was killed by police and two others, including the attacker’s son, were injured. The other victim, a man in his 50s, was shot in the leg.
Kou 11 pointed The deceased attacker’s criminal history included “arrests.”[for] Failure to stop and provide information, assault on a public servant, assault occasioning bodily harm, forgery, possession of marijuana, theft, and evading arrest for unlawful possession of a weapon. ”
