Boeing shares fell more than 4% in early trading following Monday morning's announcement, but have since recovered some and were down 2.3% at around $176.52 a share as of 11:30 a.m. ET.
Boeing declined to comment on the investigation, instead referring FOX Business to South Korea's Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MOLIT).
