Nets Wing Bojumbo Gdanovic undergoes foot surgery and misses the rest of the season.
The news first reported by ESPN and confirmed by the post means that Bogdanovic will not appear in Brooklyn all season, and is still not likely to be a potential acquisition candidate.
He hasn't played since April 28th last year since he was with the Knicks in the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.
Bogdanovic suffered a left foot injury in Game 4 of the Knicks series victory over the Philadelphia 76ers.
He had already suffered from a wrist injury and had undergone surgery to repair both.

After the surgery, Bogdanovic was included as a payroll filler for Mikal Bridgestrade, sending the latter to the Knicks, bringing a record five first-round picks to Brooklyn.
But Bogdanovic was not suited to the net and, recently, even improving on the court work, was not yet close to play.
The deadline for exempt players to sign with their teams and qualify for the playoffs is approaching soon on March 1st.
If Bogdanovic had hopes of landing elsewhere, Nets could have settled the remaining acquisitions of his remaining $19 million expiration deal.
It would have opened the roster as well as freed up cap space what he did with Ben Simmons.
Now it appears to be off the table and Bogdanovic is out towards the season.
He turned 36 on April 18th and scored a career average of 15.6 points with 46% shooting from the field and 39.4% from the Deep.
Both Bogdanovic and De'anthony Melton are out for the season. If you abandon either or both, you will not open the cap space, but you will create a roster space.
The net plans to send two-way Reesbeekman to G League Long Island for a few minutes, sources told the Post.
The young security guard averaged 2.2 points in Brooklyn's 20 minutes since being bought out of Golden State on a Dennis Schroeder contract on December 15th.
