These were some big bags.
Border Patrol agents found two backpacks filled with $1.1 million worth of cocaine dumped near the Canadian border.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection said two agents were patrolling Washington's Blaine neighborhood last week when they stumbled upon the black bag in the woods near the border near Linden.
Thirty “brick-like” packages weighing 78 pounds were found inside containing a “white powdery substance” that was later determined to be cocaine.
It wasn't immediately clear how the bags got there or why they were thrown away.

“Thanks to the vigilance of Border Patrol agents in the Blaine area, we were able to prevent these dangerous drugs from reaching our community,” said Detective Chief Patrol Agent Rosario “Pete” Vasquez.
“Our agents work tirelessly every day to protect this country, and this seizure highlights that important effort.”
CBP turned over the drugs to the Drug Enforcement Administration, officials said.
It's unclear who put the bag there or how long it was there before it was discovered. Authorities said the investigation is ongoing.
