The visit comes shortly after federal authorities dropped the corruption case against Adams under the Biden-Harris administration. Homan said he hopes the NYPD will reach an agreement with the mayor that will help remove known threats to public safety.
Another potential contract area is to reopen offices for immigration and customs enforcement in the city's main prisons, local reports said.
