Border Patrol morale is ‘going through the roof’ under Trump, top official says

U.S. Border Patrol Chief Mike Banks told Fox News Wednesday that morale at his agency is “passing through the roof” under the Trump administration.

Speaking to the “American newsroom,” Banks said, “we removed the handcuffs” and “we are actually allowed to do our job.

“Under this administration, our morale continued to rise as they literally removed handcuffs and allowed the law to be enforced in place of a policy created to contradict the law,” he continued.

The bank’s remarks follow a new report from the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) that revealed that the tropical borders were less than the first two days of 2024 under the Biden administration in the entire month of March.
