Border Patrol union mocks Biden’s trip to southern border

The Border Patrol union this week mocked President Biden’s visit to the southern Texas border.

The National Border Patrol Council on Saturday tweeted a fake itinerary of the 81-year-old president trekking to Brownsville, Texas, along with a photo of Biden fast asleep in a beach chair.

“Get on AF1 and take a nap.” the post said. “Wake up in a place called Brownsville. “It’s all Trump’s fault,” read the message on the loud teleprompter. ”

“Aboard AF1, asked who the people in green uniforms were, ‘tied up’ illegal aliens, expressed fear, and said they were taking a nap,” the union’s tweet continued. “Wake up, put a lid on it, go to the beach, take a nap.”

During a visit to the border city on Thursday, Biden called on President Trump, who was also at the border in Eagle Pass, Texas, about 525 miles away, to stop playing politics over the immigration crisis and called on bipartisan border security to stop playing politics over the migrant crisis. He appealed to Republicans in Congress to support the bill. .

“Democratic and Republican majorities in both chambers supported this bill until someone said, ‘Stop favoring the incumbent,'” Biden told reporters in Brownsville. “It’s an outrageous way to do business in America for a problem this serious.”

Biden’s handling of the border crisis could take a political hit ahead of the general election in November, as record numbers of immigrants illegally enter the U.S. each day and widespread criticism.

CBP reported more than 300,000 encounters in December alone, an all-time high. Fox News reported.

In Eagle Pass, which has become ground zero for illegal border crossings, President Trump slammed what he called the “Joe Biden invasion” of U.S. territory.

He argued that the country is “rife with immigration crimes, including the recent murder of Laken Riley, a 22-year-old Georgia nursing student who was allegedly murdered by an illegal immigrant from Venezuela.”

“My parents are devastated, but they are wonderful people,” Trump said. “This is a Joe Biden invasion. A Biden invasion. I call him ‘Crooked Joe’…the most incompetent president ever.” ”

The Biden administration is trying to shift the blame for the immigration crisis onto Republicans, who have refused to support border reform legislation.

The Border Patrol union frequently fires shots at the president. Ahead of the trip to the border, National Border Patrol Council President Brandon Judd said the action was “too little, too late.”
