The 24-year-old woman, accused of killing a 65-year-old Boston lawyer on a houseboat, noticed that protests were drowned in court during her arrest Friday morning.

Additional officers arrived and found Donohue's dog dead in nearby water, claiming evidence that someone had tried to clean the crime scene.
Nelson is said to have given the murder detective a “meaningless answer” along with a second fake name, Muse said.

Police arrested her at the scene with an unrelated warrant. She was formally charged with Donohue's murder on Thursday after an autopsy discovered that his cause and how he died was murder by stab wounds.
Without going into details, Muse told the judge that forensic evidence recovered from Donohue's artefacts led to Nelson being a crime.
The defendant, whose eyes turned down as Muse spoke, appeared to wipe tears from her eyes when he told the judge that there was a possible cause for the prosecutor to believe he had murdered Donohue. .
Defence counsel Ian Davis asked for time to consider the findings before filing a potential bail request.

The court concluded a plea of innocence on Nelson's behalf, before the judge granted the prosecution's request to detain her without bail and urged the defendant to speak up.
“No one ever told me this,” Nelson began before her voice was owned by others as she tried to cut her off. “This is the first time I've heard this.”

She is scheduled to return to court on March 6th.
The investigation is ongoing, and Boston Police are asking anyone with information about the case at 617-343-4470 to call a murder detective.
His connection to Donohue with the suspicious murderer was not immediately clear. According to public records, he lives in a houseboat and has been licensed to practice law since the 1980s.
