The White House blows up after Boston's Democratic mayor Michelle Wu doubled his vows and protected illegal immigrants from deportation at his third annual city address.
President Donald Trump has encountered severe resistance from blue cities and nations, including “sanctuary” cities, as he works to fulfill his promises of a massive deportation campaign. This transfers those who do not cooperate with the ice request that have detained illegal immigrants after criminal charges or convictions into ice custody.
WU is one such example of a local leader resisting Trump's efforts in an interview with local out in November.
However, sex crimes are surged in Boston and its surrounding areas amid the immigration crisis. Between August and December, Ice Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) officials arrested 26 illegal immigrants in the Boston area for sexual offences against children ranging from child rape to sexual assault and distribution of child pornography.
Mayor of Boston is eager to face sanctuary city policies as the patriot son continues his attack
Boston mayor Michelle Wu denounced the Trump administration during his speech Wednesday.
However, this does not deny the WU to blow up the Trump administration and Congress in an effort to enforce immigration laws.
In early March, WU and three other sanctuary mayors were burned by a House Committee on Surveillance and a committee on government policy.
In a city speech, she spoke of the council's testimony, saying, “Two weeks ago, the council had some questions about how we would do things here in Boston, so I went to DC. It might be my voice that spoke to the microphone that day, but it was the 700,000 voices that gave the council the answer: this is our city.”
“No one in Boston says how to care for us ourselves. It's not the king, it's not the president they think is king. Boston was born of a bully,” she added.
While she was in DC, she was watching what was going on in Boston. It was noted there that they were happy to see locals protesting with signs reading “We Stand With the Immigrants”, “You Belong Here”, and “SOMOS UNA CIUDAD de Ingigrantes”. [We are a city of immigrants]and “Boston won't retreat.”

She praised Boston's virtue as a city, describing it as its own “family” that includes illegal immigration.
“We're a city with strong Irish coffee and our opinions are strong,” she said. “We don't always see what's eye-opening, but at the end of the day we're a family. If you come for one of us, you get all of us. We're a city where we know that our strength lies with each other.
