Boston radio hosts criticize Aaron Rodgers' remarks about his last season: 'Uncool behavior'

Greg Hill and Courtney Cox Critique Aaron Rodgers’ Upcoming Season

Greg Hill from Wey’s radio show didn’t hold back when discussing Aaron Rodgers’ early tenure with the Steelers.

In a recent appearance on “Pat McCuffy Show,” the former MVP indicated that the 2025 season might be his final year.

Cox, sharing her thoughts this weekend, mentioned, “I just wanted to do this for the ‘season.’ It’s been 20 years, haha, quite the journey.” She emphasized that he’s definitely made an impact.

Co-host Greg Hill shared his feelings, describing Rodgers’ decision to announce potential retirement as a “douche’s move.”

Hill voiced his opinions on the timing, saying, “Training camp hasn’t even started yet. Why declare this is your last year? If you want to talk about it when you’re in town, fine. But bringing it up now? It just annoys everyone else.”

Cox acknowledged her own contradictory feelings, admitting that her reaction was influenced by Rodgers himself. She said, “If I were in Rodgers’ position, I might act the same way, but it’s just him that bothers me.”

Later, she added, “The simple fact that it’s Aaron Rodgers—that’s why I have an issue with it.”

Executive producer Christ Curtis also expressed his discontent, criticizing the decision to bring Rodgers into the Steelers’ lineup. He remarked, “It’s disappointing that the Steelers are going this route. I can’t believe Coach Mike Tomlin supports this move. He just isn’t the player he used to be.”

This criticism might not sit well with fans, as Rodgers has always stirred mixed reactions throughout his career, and particularly over the past six months.

Now at 41, Rodgers signed a one-year deal with Pittsburgh, reportedly worth around $13.6 million for 2025. Last season, he threw for 3,897 yards, with 28 touchdowns against 11 interceptions, before a lackluster spell with the New York Jets.
