New Steakhouse at Disney World Requires Dress Code
A steakhouse is on the way to the Swan and Dolphin resorts at Walt Disney World, but don’t expect to stroll in wearing your regular park attire. Guests will need to switch up their outfits if they’re coming straight from the parks.
Michael Mina’s Bourbon Steak started taking reservations just last week. According to their website, guests are expected to dress to match the restaurant’s refined vibe. The requirements are pretty clear: outfits should be clean, in good condition, and free of any offensive graphics or language. And, yes, swimsuits are a no-go.
Disney’s Economic Impact Celebration
The newly announced restaurant will join 23 other dining spots at the venue. Reservations can currently be made for July 26th.
Sean Burney, regional general manager at the Swan and Dolphin, shared in an April press release that welcoming Chef Mina is a step forward in elevating their dining experience. It’s kind of exciting, right?
Iconic Attraction Closing Date Announced
Chef Mina is well-known in the culinary world, holding a James Beard Award and having a portfolio of over 30 restaurants. At Bourbon Steak, guests can look forward to premium cuts of beef, seafood, and a delightful signature dessert, enhanced by an impressive drink selection.
Details about the menu and pricing haven’t been released yet. Maybe they’re still finalizing things? Who knows.
Chef Mina expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, praising the Swan and Dolphin’s dedication to culinary excellence. He mentioned that it aligns perfectly with the goals of the Mina Group. Each Bourbon Steak is intended to reflect the unique environment, and he’s eager to see how it unfolds in Orlando.

Interestingly, the Swan and Dolphin is conveniently located near Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. However, it’s worth noting that they are actually owned by Tishman Realty & Construction Corporation and MetLife, with Marriott International managing it.
Guests at the resort do still benefit from Disney perks, like early entry to theme parks and free transportation. So, that’s a plus!
