As the investigation into the New Year's attack continues, the FBI has released new images of New Orleans terrorist Shamsud Din Jabbar and new details about his internet search history.

Investigators also revealed that hours before the Bourbon Street attack, Jabbar was investigating a Christmas market ramming attack in Germany.
On Nov. 10, Jabbar took a train from Houston, Texas, to New Orleans and returned to Texas by bus that night, officials said.

While in the city, investigators learned that Jabbar had been checking out a rental apartment on Orleans Street. A few days into his trip, he applied to rent an apartment, but later told the landlord he had changed his mind.
He also used meta smart glasses to capture video of his surroundings while biking through the French Quarter months before carrying out the deadly attack.
