Boxer Ryan Garcia announces birth of son and divorce from wife Andrea Celina on same day

Professional boxer Ryan Garcia announced the birth of his first son, while also announcing Friday night his impending divorce from his supermodel wife of four years.

In an Instagram post on Garcia's account, the former interim WBC lightweight champion welcomed son Henry Leo into the world, as did his wife Andrea Serena.

“Praise the Lord. Thank you so much, I love him so much already. He's so fast already (lol). It only took him 8 minutes to get there.” garcia I wrote it with the photo About baby Henry.

The 25-year-old boxer then posted that he and Serena had “decided to divorce.”

The couple has been dating since 2019 and officially married in 2021.

“As we begin a new chapter in our lives, it is with a heavy heart that I share that Drea and I have decided to divorce,” Garcia wrote in a now-deleted Instagram post. Told. TMZ.

“While this decision marks the end of our marriage, it is important to emphasize that our relationship as co-parents remains our top priority.”

The young boxer, who now has two children with Serena, called her “an incredible partner and even more amazing mother” in his farewell post.

“I am deeply grateful for the years we shared and her unwavering dedication to our family,” Garcia said.

Approximately 12 hours after breaking the news of the divorce, Garcia deleted the post from her page.

Selina has not yet spoken publicly about her divorce, but she did cryptically share a post on her Instagram Story that included a screenshot of Eminem's song “Love the Way You Lie.” TMZ.

Garcia, nicknamed “King Rye,” has amassed a record of 24 wins, 1 loss, and 20 KOs, with his only loss coming against Gervonta Davis in April 2023.

Since making his professional debut at the age of 17, Garcia has quickly become one of boxing's fastest rising stars.

The day after announcing the birth of his son, Garcia was approached by lightweight boxer Devin Haney, sparking rumors of a title fight between the two in the spring.
