Brady Kiser could face serious charges in the drowning death of his 3-year-old son.

Brady Kiser, the husband of social media influencer Emily Kiser, may face felony child abuse charges related to the tragic death of their three-year-old son, Trigg, in Arizona. The Chandler Police Department announced on Tuesday that their investigation into the incident, which occurred on May 18, has concluded, and they are recommending that Brady, who is 28, consider a felony charge.

This charge could carry a prison sentence of 1 to 3.75 years, although first-time offenders might be eligible for probation.

Following the incident, which drew significant media attention, especially given Emily’s large following on TikTok, Emily has stopped posting on social media. She has filed a legal request to prevent the release of investigation records related to Trigg’s death, arguing it would cause her family emotional distress.

Reports indicate that on the day of the incident, Brady was home with Trigg and their newborn son while Emily was out. Brady told police he stepped away for about “3-5 minutes” before discovering Trigg unconscious in the family’s pool. After being pulled from the water, Trigg passed away six days later.

Emily’s complaint highlights her concerns over privacy, stating that numerous public record requests have been made since the tragedy, which she believes stem from curiosity rather than any legitimate public interest. She maintains that sharing the details of such a personal loss is inappropriate.

The Chandler Police Department has yet to comment further on the investigation as the legal proceedings unfold.
