Brazen baby-faced burglary crew hits 2 NYC homes — beating one man with a hammer: cops

A gang of baby-faced robbers targeted two homes in Queens, including hitting and stabbing two brazen residents with hammers, police said.

Authorities said nine intruders broke into a home at 147 Flushing around 1 a.m. Sunday and gained entry by breaking a front window with a hammer. In footage released by the NYPD, everyone was seen wearing face masks and most were wearing winter coats.

Once inside, they beat the 37-year-old man and stabbed him in the back with a knife, police said.

Police said they raided jewelry and clothing before getting into a gray Toyota Sienna.

The victim was taken to NewYork-Presbyterian Queens Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.

The footage shows the violent crew, believed to be teenagers, on the stoop of a house, one clutching a hammer and the other a knife, as snow falls.

The first robbery took place just hours into 2025, when authorities said they targeted another home on the same street around 3 a.m. on New Year's Day.

The two broke in by breaking a living room window, and police said they made off with about $25,000 and a bracelet.

They then fled in a gray car.

No one was injured in the incident.

The NYPD is currently asking for help tracking down the suspect.
