Tragic Death of Brazilian Model in Dubai

A Brazilian model and social media influencer, Kauana Bilhar, has tragically died after falling from the 27th floor of a skyscraper in Dubai. The circumstances surrounding her fall are still unclear, prompting an ongoing police investigation.

The 27-year-old influencer had gained significant popularity online, sharing modeling and travel content that resonated with her audience. However, the reasons behind her fatal fall haven’t been established yet. Authorities are exploring various possibilities, including accident, suicide, or homicide, specifically considering the term “femicide,” which refers to gender-based murder.

Bilhar’s mother, Darla, confirmed the heartbreaking news this week. She expressed her deep sorrow, saying, “There are no words that can express the amount of admiration you leave behind. As I dreamed, today you are no longer by my side, but you will live in me forever.” Darla has reportedly traveled to Dubai to assist with the investigation and organize her daughter’s return to Brazil.

Kauana had approximately 22,000 followers on Instagram, with one of her last posts celebrating her engagement to her partner, Barbara Abrantes, dated June 25. The precise date of her death has not been made public.

This incident isn’t isolated; there have been similar cases in the UAE before. For instance, a Ukrainian model went missing after attending a party in March 2025. After being missing for several days, she was found seriously injured. Reports indicate she had entered a restricted construction site before falling.
