Brewers prohibit fans connected to 'Call ICE' incident from entering the stadium.

A Milwaukee Brewers fan has been banned from future events at American Family Field after a viral incident in which she suggested that other fans call ICE on a Latin Dodgers supporter. The Brewers issued a statement confirming that both Shannon Kobilalczyk, the fan involved, and Ricardo Fossado, the Dodgers fan, are prohibited from attending games.

The organization emphasized that respect among fans is paramount, stating they do not tolerate any offensive comments relating to race, gender, or nationality. They aim to provide a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone at their games.

Additionally, the Milwaukee Police Department handled a separate issue involving an individual who was ejected for disorderly conduct and public intoxication, which was not directly related to the viral video. It was noted that another person became physical during the ejection process.

While the names of those involved were not disclosed in the team’s statement, Kobilalczyk was the one who prompted another fan to “call ICE” during an NLCS game. This comment came after Fossado, who resides in Los Angeles, recorded video and remarked on the quietness of nearby fans.

Fossado responded to Kobilalczyk’s remarks with a comment about how “real men drink beer,” which was followed by a racist remark from her. As a U.S. citizen of Mexican descent, Fossado served in the Navy and has expressed regret about the incident, stating he doesn’t believe Kobilalczyk should have lost her job over it, saying, “I feel sorry for her.”

Kobilalczyk, who was let go from her position at ManpowerGroup and stepped down from her role on the Make-A-Wish board, was reportedly removed from the venue after notifying security about the situation.

Reflecting on the experience, Fossado described the day as enjoyable overall, despite the ejection. He mentioned that it was his first Brewers game and that many people were kind and welcoming, implying that he wouldn’t let one negative incident ruin the overall experience.
