Rep. Brian Mast (R-Florida) called on former Speaker Nancy Pelosi (R-Florida), who called on the Biden administration to “reconsider” approving the transfer of an arms package to Israel that reportedly included the F-35. He blames House Democrats, including Democrats (D-Calif.). The fighter jets appeared on Sunday after F-35s reportedly helped deter airstrikes by Iran and its proxies from Israel.

“Just last week, Pelosi and her troops called on Joe Biden to stop transferring ‘offensive weapons’ to Israel,” Mast told the outlet. “This was like asking the United States to abandon Israel in the middle of a war.”
“Can you imagine how devastating an Iranian attack would have been if Israel did not have American fighter jets to shoot down these missiles?” Mast added.
According to CNN, F-35s and F-15s were used to protect Israel from Sunday’s attack, and unmanned aerial vehicles, cruise missiles, and ballistic missiles were fired at Israel.
