Erin Bates’ Health Update: Positive Signs After Difficult Birth
Erin Bates Payne, a star known from the show Grow Bates, has shown improvement after recently facing a serious health crisis. Following the birth of her son on August 25, Erin developed septic shock, a severe condition that can lead to organ failure. On September 1, her husband, Chad Payne, made a heartfelt appeal for prayers as she was admitted to the ICU and battled a kidney infection. Just a few days later, he shared that she had experienced prolonged seizures and was feeling very weak.
However, over the weekend, Chad updated followers via Instagram, noting that Erin’s condition was getting better. He shared a touching video of her, now alert, embracing her newborn son, Henry Bry Payne, accompanied by the song “God’s Good” by CeCe Winans.
Chad expressed immense gratitude, saying, “With tears in our eyes, we praise the most for our journey to recovery. Your prayers definitely touched heaven.” In a comment on the family account, a message read, “Two miracles lying in that bed! Thank God!” Another fan chimed in, calling it “the best post I’ve ever seen,” reminding them that they are loved by many.
The Bates family became well-known through their reality series, which aired on UPTV from 2015 to 2021. It followed the lives of parents Gill and Kelly Joe Bates and their 19 children.
Septic shock is a critical condition where severe infection leads to dangerously low blood pressure and organ dysfunction. Chad’s earlier posts reflected his deep pain and helplessness during Erin’s ordeal, stating, “It’s one of the hardest things I’ve ever faced, sitting by her side and seeing her struggle.” He expressed his love for her and his hope for healing ahead.
This latest post of hope came just two days after Chad aired his concerns for Erin’s health.
