This week, ABC, CBS and NBC sounded like criminal defense counsels again, but instead of defending Prohama militants, they advocated passionately on behalf of Venezuelan gangs. Foreigners who have been deported by Trump automatically assume the mantle of innocent victims, no matter how criminals behave.
The same applies to judges trying to reverse Trump's policy decisions. In this case, District Judge James Boasberg became the activist hero of the network's narratives that ordered these gangs to return to America. The “fact-based” newscast has not said that Boasberg was appointed by President Barack Obama and accused Trump of preventing the “riot” on January 6th.
“NBC Nightly News” and “Today” were happy to report “NBC News, at least according to NBC, they were none of them partisans.
Trump flips the script to reporters questioning the administration's authority to deport illegals
Trump and his team first called Venezuelan gangster Tren de Aragua in Aurora, Colorado last October when they took over several apartments in Aurora, Colorado. This will ensure that ABC's “this week” anchor Martha Radazs will be able to confirm and scout then presidential candidate JD Vance. Vance immediately shot back: “Are you listening to yourself?” What happens if the gang takes over her house? Will a “handful” house become a minor issue at the time?
When CBS's “Face the Nation” host Margaret Brennan tried to shame Secretary of State Marco Rubio for criminal acts by immigrants, he made a Vance-style turn and suggested, “You should watch the news.”
This leaning continues when Crusaders warn El Salvador's prisons of “controversial deportation” and compares President Donald Trump's decision to internment of Japanese-Americans in World War II. This was the last time the president called out the alien enemy law of 1798. They were not going to mention that the president who sent innocent Americans to camp was Democrat legend Franklin Roosevelt.
CBS News remains “drifting” as the network is plagued by controversy.
ABC “Good Morning America” anchor George Stephanopuros sets a negative tone. “The Trump administration ignores the orders of federal judges and sends hundreds of Venezuelan gang members to Salvador prisons without a due process, calling for centuries-old wartime law to deport them.”
These were terms that the network used repeatedly this week. It is a “centuries-old law” used to justify “detention camps” and deny illegal immigration a “justified process.” The sad irony of all this is that Trump and Vance are focusing on violent crimes caused by illegal immigrants.
Americans like Laken Riley and Rachel Morin, 12-year-old Jocelyn Nungaray, were murdered and lost the legitimate process forever. However, these networks cannot care to say names unless mentioned when they pass in anti-Trump texts. They are less sympathetic victims than the Venezuelan gang.

The network not only compared these deportations with Japanese Americans, but also dramatically compared them with Irish Americans. “On this St. Patrick's Day, millions of Americans celebrate Irish heritage, so “it reminds me that on this St. Patrick's Day, Irish people were one of the first immigrants to be targeted in the deportation crackdown,” said John Dickerson, an anchor of “CBS Evening News.”

Co-anchor Maurice Dubois said, “In the mid-1800s, New York and Massachusetts implemented a policy of rounding up and deporting Irish immigrants.”
Dickerson continued: “The American Civil Liberties Union did not exist at the time, but if it had, it could have taken the legal position it is taking now.
I almost missed Nora O'Donnell, the anchor of the final “CBS Evening News.” However, she did not lift a similar editorial against Trump during her campaign last fall.
ABC reporter Rachel Scott and NBC reporter Garrett Haike have rigorously asked White House press secretary Caroline Leavitt about deportation flights. It's not hard to speculate that the network supports Biden's mass imports and that it appears to be upset when someone is deported for some reason. “PBS News Hour” suggests that Trump's border movement could potentially bounce each.

What was ruled out amid all this sound and rage is how illegal immigrants were rapidly reduced to trickle. That would be good news, so all of these “news” networks want to avoid something that would be Trump's achievements. They have serious problems acknowledging Trump and Republicans have “effects.”
The broadcast network appears to be building the news to ensure that Trump's reporting always brings threats and villain tones. Just as Newsbusters was found in the first few weeks of 2017, everyone should expect Trump's network coverage to be around 90% negative. In contrast, it turns out that President Joe Biden's report was 59% in the first week of 2021 positive. That's when he reversed everything about Trump's border control and began a flood of illegal immigration.
