A Bronx man has been charged with murder in the stabbing death of a 14-year-old boy, law enforcement officials told the Post.
Waldo Mejia is in custody and faces charges of manslaughter and weapons possession, officials said.
NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tisch called a press conference Saturday afternoon regarding the incident.
Mejia, 29, has at least four criminal charges against him, including one in November for allegedly stabbing a neighbor's doorbell camera with a kitchen knife. officials said.
Mejia is also believed to be responsible for the Jan. 5 stabbing of a 38-year-old man who was slashed in the arm at the East 138th Street subway station, officials added.
