Autopsy Confirms Homicide of New Jersey Mother
The autopsy results for Brooke Hanlon, a mother who was recently found stabbed to death in her home, have been released. The report designates her cause of death as homicide due to “sharp force injuries.”
Hanlon, 35, was discovered deceased in her residence located on Pottersville Road in Chester, New Jersey. She left behind a one-year-old daughter. Her husband, Conor, has publicly stated that he had no part in her death.
The details from the autopsy reinforce earlier statements made by the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office in June. Conducted by Dr. Di Wang, the Morris County Medical Examiner, the autopsy took place on June 7, just a day after Hanlon was found.
The report also indicates that personnel from the Morris County Sheriff’s Office, Prosecutor’s Office, and local police were present during the autopsy.
Currently, no arrests or persons of interest have been announced in the ongoing investigation led by the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office.
