Brooklyn Beckham reportedly missed his father’s 50th birthday celebration, which was star-studded and included David Beckham and his other children, amid rumors of a rift with his brother, Romeo.
While the rest of the famous Beckham family was seen celebrating in a popular London restaurant on Saturday, Brooklyn and his wife, actress Nicola Peltz, were notably absent from the event’s photos.
The retired soccer star was accompanied by his wife, Victoria Beckham, and their three children: Romeo, 22; Cruz, 20; and Harper, 13.
In one snapshot, Victoria donned a lovely white gown, looking cheerful. Romeo and Cruz both appeared dapper in white suits and were joined by their girlfriends, Kim Turnbull and Jackie Apostel.
Other notable guests at David’s birthday party included Gordon Ramsay, Tom Cruise, and Eva Longoria.
According to reports, Brooklyn was back in the U.S. before the celebration took place.
A representative for Brooklyn hasn’t responded to requests for comments.
This celebration marks the second birthday event for David this year, following a Miami bash in March where most of the kids were in attendance, except Brooklyn.
Interestingly, Brooklyn also skipped the earlier celebration, with rumors suggesting it was due to ongoing issues between him and Romeo. Sources claim the brothers have been at odds recently, creating tension not just between them but also involving Romeo’s girlfriend.
An insider mentioned that Brooklyn’s concerns revolve around Turnbull’s intentions in dating his brother. This rift seems to have implications on their family life, with Brooklyn and Nicola choosing to stay away from events where Turnbull is present.
Further reports indicate that this tension might have been a factor in Brooklyn and Nicola missing Victoria’s fashion show in March as well.
Despite these challenges, the couple appears committed to navigating their situation.
