Brooklyn rapper attacked by two men fed up with his offensive behavior

Anthony Caines, the man recently arrested by the NYPD for allegedly spitting in a woman’s face in Williamsburg, has reportedly faced some form of street justice.

Videos circulating on social media show two men visibly attacking a person believed to be Caines, 45, outside a hair salon on Sixth Avenue.

It’s uncertain exactly when these videos were recorded.

In the footage, Caines is seen curled up on the sidewalk, being hit multiple times by two assailants, who are not identifiable in the clip.

The attackers are heard laughing while they kick and stomp on Caines.

Caines can be heard crying out as the assault continues.

At one point, the video cuts to Caines with a noticeable gash above his left eye, blood running down his face as the assailants issue a final warning.

“Stop raping these women, okay?” a man ahead of the camera tells him.

“We are tired of that situation,” another adds. “You’re making us look bad.”

Caines appears to acknowledge the situation, saying, “I went to prison, right?”

“Damn, prison – we’re worse than prison,” the man responds, landing a final punch to Caines’s head.

Caines had been arrested on November 13 for alleged repeated incidents of spitting.

He was released the following day on an ankle monitor after pleading not guilty to charges, including aggravated racial and religious harassment, according to court documents.

The Brooklyn District Attorney’s Office is seeking to interview other potential victims who have yet to come forward.

So far, the New York City Police Department has not received any reports regarding the assault on Caines.

The newspaper reached out to the original poster of the video but did not receive a reply.
