A Jewish spa owner found the windows of his Brooklyn store smashed Monday morning and believes he was targeted by anti-Semitic vandals.
Alison Trey, 53, was left “shaking and crying” when she woke up to find her 20-year-old business, Tres Belle Spa, in Boreum Hill, desecrated. , she said. [a return of] “Kristallnacht” – refers to the 1938 Nazi attack that killed nearly 100 Jews.

Trey, a longtime Brooklyn resident, told the Post he believed the attack, which occurred on a Jewish holiday, was a hate crime.
“This is another symbol of hate. It's another way to try to bring us down and scare us,” Trey said.
“Why today? There's nothing I can do. [guess] Probably because of October 7th. This is definitely a 100% anti-Semitic attack. ”
It wasn't the first time she faced anti-Semitism, she said.
“In recent months, I have been the target of anti-Semitic threats,” Trey said, adding that she feels they have become “more aggressive” recently.
She said the alleged threats started on social media and Yelp and escalated to messages to business accounts last week.
“Someone once sent an email to my computer at work saying, 'Alison Trae is the target,'” she continued.
A Yelp review also called her an “ignorant Zionist” and encouraged others to boycott her spa, according to screenshots provided by Trey. The review was removed after she reported it to the website.
“The only thing I've ever done is post messages of support on my professional page to bring the hostages home,” she said. Her spa instagram page.
The exact content of the volatile message is unknown as it was shared on the spa's Instagram story and disappears after 24 hours.
Trey posts about her Jewish faith and identity on her company's Instagram page, but insists her posts are not overly supportive of Israel.
However, Tres Belle Spa featured in the compilation Number of companies that are “vocally pro-Israel.” However, it is unclear how the list was created.
