Brooks Nader turned heads at Monday’s CFDA Fashion Awards, arriving in a sheer black-and-white metallic dress with a halter neckline and an attached hood. The 29-year-old model and actress wore black underwear beneath the dress, along with open-toed black heels, small hoops, two rings and dark red nail polish.
Her hair was pinned up beneath the hood, with one loose strand framing her face. She kept her makeup understated, pairing nude lipstick with winged eyeliner.
Nader has worn sheer looks before. In September, she was photographed in New York in a fitted black dress with ruffled sleeves and a high neckline, paired with black undergarments, pointed pumps and a clutch. Her blonde hair was loose in waves.
She has also spoken about growing up with conservative parents in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. In a 2025 interview with Maxim, Nader said they were “totally against” her pursuing modeling and acting. Still, she was drawn to Hollywood and fashion. After attending an open casting call in Miami, she appeared in the 2020 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue and was named Rookie of the Year.
“Then, five years later, I made it onto the cover,” she said. “I think people really started to take me seriously then. And, yes, I did send a signed copy over to my former agents, too.”
Nader is preparing for the premiere of the “Baywatch” reboot, where she stars alongside Shay Mitchell, Livvy Dunne and Stephen Amell. The original series ran from 1989 to 1999 and featured David Hasselhoff, Pamela Anderson, Carmen Electra, Nicole Eggert and Donna D’Errico.
“Pamela Anderson was the muse of all muses, and she’s been on my vision board forever,” Nader said at the 2026 FOX Upfront in May. “So, we’re going to pay homage to Pam and all the muses of ‘Baywatch’ to the best of our ability. Big shoes to fill. Huge.”
Her parents, she said, are enthusiastic about the reboot partly because the characters wear one-piece swimsuits. “We weren’t allowed to wear two-piece bikinis growing up,” Nader said. “So they’re like, ‘You’re following the family rules. You’re wearing a one-piece swimsuit. So, we’re all good.’”
