Brown Exposes Rosen for Dodging Question on Possible Israel Arms Embargo

Let. U.S. Army Col. Sam Brown, the Republican candidate for the Nevada Senate, accused Sen. Jacky Rosen (D-Nev.) of dodging a question about the potential cutoff of aid to Israel during a debate.

Asked Thursday whether he supported a 30-day arms embargo on Israel over humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip, which the Biden-Harris administration has threatened to do, Rosen did not give a clear answer.

Mr. Brown revealed that Mr. Rosen deflected while answering questions himself.

“Absolutely not. I do not support that position. It is surprising that Sen. Rosen avoided answering that question definitively,” Brown said. “As someone who has witnessed the horrors of war, I can say that no one should have to go through something like that.”

In Afghanistan, Brown was severely burned, his unit was hit by a roadside bomb, one of his men was killed, and Brown was wounded and forced to leave the battlefield.

Brown praised former President Donald Trump for steering the United States out of war during his presidency.

“And that was the amazing thing we had in President Trump's leadership. When President Trump returns to the White House, that's going to happen again and I can be an ally of the president in the Senate. Probably.''

“But when such conflicts arise again, this should be an easy answer for politicians,” he added. “There is no need to draw red lines about what Israel can or cannot do or how to support Israel.”

Rosen later countered that he did not support the Biden-Harris administration's ultimatum.

“I don't support ultimatums. I believe we need to support Israel in the fight against terrorism, but what I support is not helping civilians suffering in Gaza. , it is our responsibility to help limit civilian casualties,” she said.
