Bryan Johnson’s Bold Claims About Girlfriend’s Health
Bryan Johnson, known for his biohacking endeavors, has taken sharing personal details to a whole new level recently.
While most people might share about their partner’s qualities, like their creativity or athletic skills, Johnson is openly praising the impressive health metrics of his girlfriend, Kate Tolo.
The unusual sharing began when Johnson, 48, sent a surprising goodnight message to his one million followers on X, stating simply, “Just gave Kate oral sex. Goodnight, everyone.”
Just minutes later, he followed up with a post that included Tolo’s vaginal microbiome report. He boasted about it, saying she received a perfect score of 100/100 and is in the top 1% of all women in terms of vaginal health.
He highlighted the dominance of a particularly beneficial bacterium, Lactobacillus crispatus, in her results. “Only about 25-30% of reproductive-age women globally have this dominant species, and Kate is at 98.7%,” he added, indicating how rare her results are.
He also noted that Tolo, 30, is free from various health issues, including certain bacterial infections and sexually transmitted diseases. According to Johnson, her exceptional report correlates with a decreased risk of bacterial vaginosis, urinary tract infections, and other health concerns.
Moreover, her high score seems linked to better outcomes for in vitro fertilization and a lower chance of preterm birth.
Johnson wrapped up this personal update by stating that a woman’s vaginal microbiome reflects multiple aspects of health like sleep, stress levels, and even diet.
Reactions were swift; one person called Johnson’s disclosure “c–chie carfax,” while another likened it to a quarterly financial report detailing his girlfriend’s health stats. One commenter even noted the bizarre nature of the post, stating it felt like problematic behavior.
Tolo responded, admitting that while his post might appear extreme, there’s merit to discussing oral sex more openly. She pointed out the real risks involved, such as the transmission of oral herpes and implications for overall health, mentioning that HPV from oral sex is now a leading cause of certain cancers in the US.
She also referenced studies linking oral sex with higher incidences of bacterial vaginosis, highlighting the complex interactions at play. Despite the unusual revelations, Tolo expressed appreciation for Johnson, stating she values having a partner who is committed to their mutual health.
To which Johnson replied, “Well said.”
Johnson, who has previously characterized himself as a demanding partner due to his strict health routines, publicly announced his relationship with Tolo late last year.
Reflecting on their connection, he remarked that they’ve nearly become one entity, describing their bond as an ideal match. Their relationship began when Tolo came aboard his brain-interface company, Kernel, about five years ago, where he first saw her as “luminescent,” leading their professional rapport to evolve into something deeper.
