Bryson DeChambeau unveiled this new version of himself at Valhalla Golf Club at the 2024 PGA Championship. He played very freely on the course and finished second to Xander Schauffele.
But the way he took the turn on Sunday will make people think even more highly of him.
Anthony, the user formerly known as X, Twitter I posted a video DeChambeau throwing the ball to a child.
An older man stole the ball, but the Crusher GC captain did not allow it. He waited until the man returned it to the child.
Great Bryson DeChambeau moment. He threw the number 9 ball to the kid, but waited until the older man intercepted it and returned it to his right hand. pic.twitter.com/NgxfwwVgwZ

He waited until the ball was firmly in the child’s hand before proceeding. That’s saying a lot considering it was in the middle of Sunday’s round of the championship.
Unfortunately, things like this happen all the time at sporting events. Even if an athlete does something good for a child, adults will find a way to ruin it. Players don’t necessarily realize it’s happening. Nor do they have the physical ability to instantly repair damage.
DeChambeau didn’t seem concerned about having to reach the 10th tee. He wanted the kid to get the ball. Fans around him will remember his generosity for a long time.
If you’re wondering about DeChambeau, watch this video. Because this video shows who he is at his core.
Throughout his week in Valhalla, many began to see his true self, but this video shows DeChambeau at his best. After Sunday, he probably became a lifelong fan of his child and his. This is a great move by the former US Open champion, and after his performance, he could be one of the favorites to win at Pinehurst.
