Bud Light ditches fake chick for Shane Gillis

Bud Light has removed its beer goggles.

The mega brand learned a few lessons from its expensive Dylan Mulvaney experiment, one of which is that fake women don't sell beer.

In an effort to move past the ensuing boycott, Bud Light hired comedian Shane Gillis to star in a commercial that harkened back to the campaign that made the company famous.

Anheuser-Busch, owner of Bud Light, said of the partnership with Gillis:

The commercial began airing during college football games on NBC, ABC and ESPN on August 31.
