Buffy the Vampire Slayer star Michelle Trachtenberg is hitting back at negative comments about her role on social media.
The back-and-forth with online commenters began four days ago, when she shared a selfie with “Spy Kids” star Alexa PenaVega at a salon.
In the caption, Trachtenberg wrote, “These girls…now adults are doing their roots and hair! I love these girls.”
One social media user asked the actress, “Michelle, you look sick. Are you okay?”

Ms. Trachtenberg said, “Please explain to me how sick I am. You lost your calendar and you didn't realize that I'm not 14 years old. I'm 38 years old.'' How sad it is to leave a comment.”
The same person commented again and said, “My comment was not really meant to hurt you, it's not rude. I respect you. It has nothing to do with your age. It's just that you “He just looks pale and sick. I'm sorry if I offended him.”it wasn't my attention[sic]. ”
Two days later, Trachtenberg posted another selfie with her hair refreshed and styled in bright pink tips, with the caption, “Recently, I've received a few comments about my appearance. I have never had plastic surgery. I am happy and healthy. Check it out.” You hate yourself. ”

Fans continued to wonder about the “Gossip Girl” star, writing, “Girl, we love you. Your eyes are yellow. That's concerning. There's no hate here. Just genuinely concerned about your health. I'm doing it,” he wrote.
Another echoed the perceived concern: “Nobody's talking about plastic surgery…they're talking about the liver shutting down.”
The 38-year-old posted another selfie on Saturday, writing in the caption: “Fun fact. This is my face. I'm not malnourished, I'm fine. Why would you hate me? Get me a calendar.”

The “calendar” comment echoed Trachtenberg's comment, reminding fans that she is almost 40 and no longer a teenager.
The Harriet the Spy star isn't the only celebrity taking to social media to comment on her appearances.
