Caitlin Clark had the first block for the Indiana Fever.
The women’s basketball superstar had a busy week, attending the WNBA Draft, guesting on “Saturday Night Live” and having an awkward exchange with an Indianapolis sports columnist.
And now that week includes blocking former NFL wide receiver Antonio Brown at X.
The controversial former Buccaneers receiver appeared to target Clark’s appearance in at least one post on the social media website earlier this week, and on Thursday, Brown tweeted that the Indiana star also targeted Clark on the platform. posted a screenshot showing that it was blocked.
After being blocked by Clark, Brown appears to have posted about her appearance on X at least twice.
Clark had already addressed the awkward situation Wednesday at his induction press conference with Indy Star columnist Greg Doyle, in which he said that Clark was holding a heartthrob with his hand, an act he does to his family after games. I was pretending to make a .
After the two had an exchange about the behavior, Doyle said, “If you start doing that to me, we’ll get along.”
Ms Doyle subsequently faced criticism on social media for the exchange, and posted an apology for what had happened.

As for Clark, the all-time leading scorer in Division I basketball history, he seems excited to begin his professional career amidst this surreal week.
“I think the biggest thing I try to remember is how grateful I am to have been given this opportunity. There are so many people who would kill to be in my shoes. “I know,” she said. “When things seem long and I’m tired and I feel like I have to do this or I have to do that, I tell myself how grateful I am to have an opportunity like this. I’m lucky to have moments like this.”
