WNBA rookie sensations Kaitlyn Clark and Angel Reese faced off for the fourth time this season on Friday.
The Fever defeated the Chicago Sky 100-81, giving Indiana its third win in the four-game series between the teams during the regular season.
The Fever have now won their last three games, while the Sky have lost five in a row. The first match was decided by a total of 10 points, with both teams winning by one point, but this time they won by a large margin.

Reese finished with 10 points and 11 rebounds, tying her with Tina Charles for the rookie double-double record with 23 points and surpassing Sylvia Fowles' Chicago single-season record. Reese also holds the rookie record with 399 rebounds.
The game was a sold-out draw for 9,445 fans at Wintrust Arena on Barbie Night, a nod to Reese's nickname at LSU, “Bayou Barbie.” NBA legend Shaquille O'Neal, who appears to be Reese's mentor, was also sitting courtside on Friday night.

Clark is the only player to record 25+ points and 10+ rebounds three times in a season, and she is on pace to break the single-season assist total record. Clark entered Friday's game averaging 18 points, 8.1 assists and 5.7 rebounds.
The Fever has five wins and one loss since the Olympic hiatus.
“I think we understand each other a lot better,” Clark said of where we are now. “When you have that teamwork and you have that time to play together, you gain confidence. I think you're seeing that. … I'm proud of this team. We're sharing the ball, we're taking good shots. It helps our transition game, it helps our defense.”

Michaela Onyenwere scored 20 points to lead Chicago, which is 1-5 since the Olympic suspension. Lindsay Allen had 19 points and Rachel Banham had 14. The Sky were without Chennedy Carter, who missed her second straight game due to health and safety protocols.
On Wednesday, the Fever snapped an 11-game losing streak against the Connecticut Sun. The 84-80 victory on Aug. 28 was Indiana's first win over Connecticut since July 2021.
After the match, Clark and the rest of the Fever team had the chance to meet Biles and Olympic gold medalist track and field star Gabby Thomas, who smiled and embraced and posed for photos with the basketball pros.

Biles later took to social media to express her excitement about the growth of women's sports.
“Everyone is watching women's sports, so I'm happy I can go and support them! This is my first WNBA game.” She wrote About X.

The Fever are back in action on Sunday against the Dallas Wings, while the Sky also play at Minnesota on Sept. 1.
