Indiana Fever’s Kate Linklark Celebrates Boyfriend’s Birthday After Team Victory
On Sunday, Indiana Fever player Kate Linklark shared a heartfelt birthday message for her boyfriend Conor McCaffery, coinciding with her team’s win against the Dallas Wings.
Linklark posted a series of photos featuring herself and McCaffery on social media to mark his 27th birthday. “Happy Happy Happy Birthday Con. You’re better every day and I couldn’t be more grateful. This may be the best year yet, I love you,” she wrote in her Instagram caption.
The couple began dating in April 2023 while attending the University of Iowa, where they both played basketball. Just a month into their relationship, McCaffery started working as an assistant with the Indiana Pacers.
After his time with the Pacers, McCaffery joined the coaching staff under Chris Holtmann at Butler University in September 2024. During this period, he was involved with the Bulldogs’ run in the college basketball Crown Postseason tournament.
“Following his high-level playing career, Connor had the opportunity to contribute and learn alongside one of the best staff in the NBA,” Matta commented on McCaffery’s role in the program. “These experiences are incredibly valuable to our staff,” he added, expressing enthusiasm about McCaffery’s potential impact.
Linklark has been spotted supporting McCaffery and the Bulldogs during their games.
In the recent match against the Wings, Linklark showed her skills by scoring 14 points and providing 13 assists, leading her team to victory.
