Caitlin Clark’s records and awards at Iowa, explained

Caitlin Clark declared for 2024 WNBA Draft, her run at Iowa is nearing an end.

And what a ride it was.

The Hawkeyes are still in the women’s NCAA Tournament, but Clark is scheduled to play her final game against West Virginia on Monday night at Carver-Hawkeye Arena. Clark, fellow starter Kate Martin, Gabby Marshall has a chance to play his final home game in front of the fans who have packed Carver vs. Hawkeye for every game this season.

Plus, it’s a chance for Clark to possibly set another NCAA record.

The Iowa State standout has already racked up numerous records and accolades, including passing Pete Maravich as the NCAA women’s and men’s all-time leading scorer this season. (It’s worth noting that Clark’s 3,798 points still fall short of Pearl Moore. Francis Marion scored 4,061 points. Additionally, Clark is embarking on his final NCAA Tournament. she could set some more records over the next few weeks. She enters this weekend as the second all-time field goal scorer, just five points behind Brittney Griner.She could take over her No. 1 spot in Monday night’s Iowa State-West Virginia game.

Clark is second on the NCAA all-time 3-pointers list, just 14 behind Taylor Robertson. Clark, who came from Iowa State with a strong showing in the tournament, could set a new record there.
