California GOP Aims to Prevent Candidates Linked to Nick Fuentes

Is Nick Fuentes a Foreign Operative? New Evidence Implies Perhaps

California Republican Party Memo on Vetting Procedures

In a memo from February, the California Republican Party encouraged local groups to enhance their vetting processes to prevent supporters of podcaster Nick Fuentes from becoming influential within the party.

Fuentes has stirred controversy with various remarks, including his praise for the Holocaust and admiration for Joseph Stalin, alongside criticism of Vice President J.D. Vance related to his marriage. Documents acquired from the California Republican Engagement Committee suggest that Fuentes’ followers, known as “Groyer,” use tactics similar to those of the Democratic Socialists of America, who have gained traction in the Democratic Party.

The memo describes this ideology as white supremacist and antagonistic toward traditional conservative principles, particularly criticizing MAGA and Trump. It argues that the essence of this extreme take on ‘America First’ is to reorganize the nation around ethnic and cultural identity, which resembles the ideologies seen in Nazi Germany.

I will vote Democrat in 2026 because white people can be on either side. Republicans broke every promise they made, including covering up the Epstein file, banning regime change, the Iran war, and mass deportations. The Republican Party must be purged and burned in 2026. Hostile takeover in 2028.

Fuentes did not respond immediately to a request for comment, but in a paper from December 2025, he denied being racist or sexist during an interview with podcaster Steve Crowder.

The memo also notes that those aligned with this ideology are not solely focused on winning elections. Their goals include advancing within the party primaries, gaining voting rights, and potentially securing positions that would allow them to influence the party from within. It likens their approach to that of the Democratic Socialists of America, claiming it has led to a decline in voter support for the Democrats.

Among Fuentes’ troubling remarks highlighted in the memo is his claim that “white people are completely justified in being racist,” alongside various derogatory comments directed at Vance and other figures. He has additionally criticized Trump, referring to certain military actions as a “Jewish neocon war,” and expressed a preference for Democratic control of the House in upcoming elections.

His recognition surged after rapper Kanye West hosted him for dinner with Trump in November 2022.

Tucker Carlson, co-founder of the Daily Caller, interviewed Fuentes in October.
