Reports show that a Spanish teacher in California has been arrested on suspicion of engaging in sexual activity with a minor.
Riverbank Police Services announced the arrest of 33-year-old Dulce Flores, a teacher at Riverbank High School last week.
“The Stanislaus County Sheriff's Office has arrested a Riverbank High School teacher after investigating an investigation into allegations of inappropriate relationships with a former student,” Riverbank Police Service began, saying Flores had been a school teacher since 2016.
She was arrested at her home on Tuesday, Feb. 25th, and taken to Stanislaus County Jail, where her bail was set at $20,000. She is currently “facing unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor due to her relationship with a 17-year-old male student in 2023,” according to Riverbank Police Services.
Riverbank Police Services urged someone else with knowledge of inappropriate conduct to contact authorities.
“We would like to thank Riverbank Unified Schulidect for prompt reporting to our office. Their cooperation helped us determine the situation in sensitive cases,” they added.
Principal Constantino Aguilar said, “It's really unfortunate that our district is facing this situation.” Modest Bee“They are working with law enforcement agencies and are trying to determine the options available to address this issue independently.”
The outlet noted that this is not the first time a school has faced this type of incident. In December 2023, authorities were warned in reports that Modestoby described him as “Logan Naball with suspected sexual relations” (a 23-year-old former Riverbank High Girls basketball coach).
