The teenager was on her way back to her home in California but never returned, and authorities said she was last seen during a layover at Denver International Airport.
The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children said 15-year-old Harper Cadman went missing at Denver International Airport on January 30th.
“Mr. Harper did not board a flight home and is believed to still be in the Denver or Boulder, Colorado area,” the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children said in a statement.
The girl was last seen arriving in Denver around 8:27 a.m. on Jan. 30 for a layover on her way back to California, the group said.

Cadman’s mother, Ali Petronelli, wrote a heartfelt message about her daughter’s disappearance in a Facebook post.
“I’m sick to my stomach writing this. I never thought I’d be posting another missing child flyer, but if there’s one thing I’ve learned over the past year, it’s that life… has no meaning,” Petronelli wrote. In a Facebook post.
Petronelli said her daughter was scheduled to return to her home in California from Montana, but did not take the connecting flight on United Airlines.
She said her daughter was attending a mental health treatment center in Montana at the time of the incident.
“As many of you may know, Ms. Harper has been undergoing mental health treatment for the past year, and was on her way back to California from Montana when she arrived on United Airlines at 8:30 a.m. on January 30 while transiting at Denver Airport. disappeared from the plane,” Petronelli explained.

Cadman is described as 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing approximately 115 pounds.
She has blue eyes and dyed black hair. She has a piercing in her nose and tattoos on her lower back and the middle finger of her left hand. She also has braces.

Her mother said she was last seen wearing a white True Religion sweater, black leggings and black boots. She didn’t have anything else with her during her trip.

Authorities believe she is still in the Denver or Boulder area.
Her family said she didn’t know anyone in Colorado.
