A teenager was stabbed and left in danger during an anti-Trump protest outside Los Angeles City Hall when multiple fights took place Friday afternoon.
The 17-year-old was one of many people in downtown Los Angeles, protesting President Donald Trump's immigration and deportation laws.
The Los Angeles Police Department said the protests collapsed into chaos and violence at 1:30pm when the fight broke out.
Police responded to an area of 200 North Spring Street after seeking a stab wound.

The suspect's victim fell to the ground as several others gave him assistance.
One eyewitness claimed that the stab wound was unexpected and that the suspect was not a protester.

When the teenagers were on the ground, protesters continued to wave around multiple non-American flags, including Mexican and Argentinean flags.
Paramedics rushed the teen to a local hospital in danger. Officials added.
