California Wildfires: Heidi Montag skyrockets to No. 1 on iTunes after losing Pacific Palisades home

Reality stars Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt may have lost their beloved Pacific Palisades home due to the California wildfires that continue to wreak havoc on the city of Los Angeles, but they haven't lost their fans.

In support of the couple, fans helped push Montag's debut album, released in 2010, to the top of the iTunes charts, holding the No. 1 spot for both song and album at the time of publication.

On Friday, days after his home burned down, Pratt acknowledged his wife's growing interest in music. “This is the best news I've had all week, but I'm not saying much. Thank you to everyone who streamed Montag's album 'Superficial.'” For the first time ever, it's currently in the top 50 on iTunes. he told his devoted TikTok followers.

Hours after his first TikTok video, the album hit No. 2 on the iTunes chart, much to Pratt's delight. “If you haven't been to iTunes yet, go do it now. Let's go to number one,” Pratt said with elation. “Screenshots will be taken. When the kids grow up, she'll be a famous pop star. She'll be in the history books,” he joked. “They won't realize it's because the house burned down and we don't have anything and people are just trying to cheer us on. They just say, 'Wow! My mom was a pop superstar who hit No. 1 on the charts.''
