Authorities sent arson investigators to the Pacific Palisades to determine the cause of the fire that destroyed thousands of nearby structures.
“The cause of the fire is unknown and remains under active investigation,” Los Angeles Fire Chief Christine Crowley said Thursday.

But some celebrities don't buy it.
“There's an arsonist here in Los Angeles,” actor Henry Winkler posted on Broadcast X on Wednesday, adding, “May you be beaten beyond recognition!!! The pain you caused!!!”
Actress Alison Sweeney simply replied, “I agree.”
“Someone started a fire. Don't add up,” singer Chris Brown wrote on his Instagram Story on Thursday.

Another wildfire in Acton is 40% contained, Marrone said. The fire was confined to only 348 acres.
