Cam Bynum wants to collab with Raygun after tribute celebration goes viral

Cam Bynum has caught Raygun's attention, so he hopes the two can work together in the future.

During Sunday's win over the Jaguars, the Vikings safety made headlines for imitating the routine of an Australian breakdancer who made headlines at the 2024 Paris Olympics while celebrating an interception, something that Regan himself also did. Noting, he called the compliment “wild” and added, “I love(d) it.”

Bynum, 26, called Regan's reaction a “fanboy” and hopes to connect with her in the offseason.

“1000 percent” Bynum told TMZ Sports. “I don't know if it's a fight or not, but she'll probably kill me because I'm not a very good dancer. She's a world-class dancer.”

Bynum picked off Mac Jones in the fourth quarter of the Vikings' 12-7 win, recording his third interception of the season, and immediately performed a bizarre routine for Ragan.

He's not surprised by the attention he's receiving.

“Absolutely not. That was the plan behind this whole celebration,” Bynum said. “I'm a huge fan of Ray Gunn, especially after the Olympics, when everyone found out about her and I saw Ray Gun coming back again recently. But I don't know if she did that dance or what she did at the Olympics. Ever since I saw him perform, I was like, “We have to bring this back in an NFL game.'' I don't think anyone has the courage to do that. So I memorized it and researched her. ”

Ray Gunn, 37, whose real name is Rachel Gunn, did not score a single point during three rounds of competition in Paris.

She recently hinted at withdrawing from some competitions, but made it clear she would not retire.

“You try to stop me. I'm not going to stop dancing,” she told “Today” host Sara Abdo. “So if you hear it again, you'll know it's not true.”
