Cambodian Gang Member in the U.S. Without Legal Status Charged with Murder of Texas Woman

Federal Charges Filed Against Cambodian Gang Member in Texas Shooting

Federal officials have charged a Cambodian gang member, Sabin “Two Face” Sen, in connection to the shooting death of a woman in Texas. He is also being sought for a murder in California from 2022.

This week, the 41-year-old Sen appeared before a federal judge in Victoria, Texas, facing charges for being an illegal immigrant in possession of a firearm. He is currently in federal custody and will have a detention hearing later this week.

Sen was first arrested on October 3 following a local investigation into the fatal shooting of a woman in the head at a residence near Victoria. According to prosecutors, authorities found Sen’s cell phone at the scene, which had a picture of him holding a handgun. He was apprehended while trying to escape just under a mile away. During his arrest, officers seized a Glock 17 handgun with an extended magazine.

Following his arrest, local authorities sought help from Homeland Security Investigations (HSI). It was discovered that Sen had active murder charges in California stemming from a 2022 incident.

Federal prosecutors describe Sen as a documented gang member with a lengthy criminal record. He was subject to a federal removal order back in 2016, but after serving time for other offenses, he was not handed over to immigration for deportation. Instead, he was released and allegedly fell back into criminal activity.

When authorities attempted to question Sen about how he acquired the firearms, he claimed he was “not an informant.” Sen also mentioned having multiple guns and insisted that the weapon used during his arrest “fell from the sky.”
