Photographer’s Challenge at Miami Grand Prix

Being a photographer isn’t always easy. You have to concentrate on capturing the right moment while tuning out distractions. Yet sometimes, something eye-catching sneaks into the frame, pulling attention away from the task at hand. This is precisely what happened to a photographer working at the F1 Miami Grand Prix.

Let’s be real; everyone has their moments.

During the Friday sprint qualifying session, British broadcaster Sky Sports featured former world champion Jenson Button, alongside ex-driver Naomi Schiff and presenter Simon Lazenby. However, their analysis was unexpectedly interrupted when a cameraman got a bit distracted by a notable guest in the paddock.

You could imagine some husbands catching heat from their wives after shouting out, “Hey, it’s Ivana Nord!”

Indeed, internet fans quickly recognized her as the “sexiest fan” from the 2018 World Cup. It’s quite a title, considering the number of people present.

Though the cameraman eventually refocused, one can only hope the nearby McLaren mechanic wasn’t using any power tools when Ivana strolled by. That could have been a recipe for disaster.

It’s interesting to think that she likely knew the impact she would have. The title of “Sexiest Fan” must come with some confidence, after all. Her outfit was a stark contrast to the typical paddock scene filled with tools and tires, suggesting she was well aware of the photographers around her.

Perhaps we’ll see more of her at Sunday’s Grand Prix. Just the night before, it was announced that the race would start earlier to avoid potential bad weather later in the day.
