Cameron Brink is looking on the bright side of life despite suffering a likely season-ending injury earlier this month when he tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee.
The first photos of Brink taken since her injury can be seen in several photos posted to her Instagram page.
“Such a change and so much joy,” she captioned the post.
In three photos, Brink was smiling as she posed for photos with an adorable puppy, believed to be named Olive.
The first photo in the carousel shows Brink using crutches and wearing a blue leg sleeve on his right leg.
The No. 2 overall pick in this year’s WNBA draft was standing next to her boyfriend, Ben Felter, who posed for photos while holding their dog in a carrier.
A second photo shows Brink and Felter, with the former Stanford University rower holding Olive, and Brink walking with crutches.
The final slide is a video of the K9 running across the grass.
Brink also shared a photo on her Instagram Story of her holding Olive while lying on what appears to be a physiotherapy table.

The Sparks star was injured in a 79-70 loss to the Sun on June 18.
Brink is averaging 7.5 points, 5.3 rebounds and 2.3 blocks this season.
The injury is a major blow to the Sparks, who are 4-13 this season, and will mean Brink will miss this summer’s Olympic 3×3 tournament in Paris.
Brink was part of a star-studded draft class that included superstars Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese and star Camila Cardoso.
