Cameron Brink shared that she is “a whim” about a potential male practice player who Sparks welcomes a tryout next month as well.
The WNBA star was discussing the topic on a “Straight Cam to Come” podcast hosted by content creator Sidell Kareely.
“My confession is that I'm really aware of a potential new practice player,” Brink told Curriely in a clip posted on social media. “It's basically just a flyer. It's like me, diaika [Hamby]Likkea [Jackson]Kelsey [Plum]and that's like “the male practice athletes wanted.” And I usually use the USC women's team. And all the comments are like “Cameron let me back down” or something about something about Rikkea or Kelsey.
“Now I seem to need to strongly vet these guys, hopefully they are gay.
Curry-Lee also commented on anyone who brought in, “They need to undergo heavy HR training.”
Brink also described her as being a joke, but it could actually affect her physicality.
“I'm not boxing anyone,” Brink said. “Lin” [Roberts]our new coach will scream me out to not rebound. But I'm not boxing anyone. ”
Practice using male players is a long-term player for women's college basketball teams and a long-standing team for the teams that WNBA champion Liberty has used for many years.
I'm looking for male practice players for the 2025 season. Is there anything I need?

Liberty also used social media posts to spread the word while searching for male practice players.
Liberty's basketball operations coordinator spoke in a post on the feature last year about the fit, where practice players need to be evaluated for work.
“We are trying to fit not only our position needs, but our physical needs, when it comes to height and strength,” Parker said. “But the most important piece is to ensure that they fit properly, do what we need them, sign a contract with the team, get it with the players, or use it to have impure motives.”
Sparks Tryout is scheduled to take place on April 12th at El Camino College.

Brink is now in his second season with the WNBA after being second overall in last year's draft.
She quickly made a promise in the league, averaging 7.5 points, 5.3 rebounds and 2.3 blocks for one night.
